Invite your students

Learn how student accounts work and how to get your students signed up quickly and easily.

How teacher and student accounts work together

As a teacher at a school or university that is part of our Connie for Education programme, you get a dedicated admin account. This is not just a regular Connie account. It gives you a set of additional tools to manage and support your students.

Each student account is linked to the schools admin account as a sub-account. Think of it as an umbrella structure where you have oversight of everything happening underneath.

As a teacher, you can:

  • View and oversee your students' documents and projects

  • Create and share legal templates with your students

  • Control account access and adjust school settings

  • Monitor student accounts to make sure everything is on track

Your students can:

  • Create school projects and manage their files

  • Send and sign documents

  • Collaborate with their peers

This setup gives your students the independence to work professionally while you keep the overview.

For a smooth registration process, it’s essential that students sign up using your school’s or university’s unique signup link. This ensures that all student accounts are properly connected under your institution’s Connie “umbrella,” creating a clear and organized structure for everyone involved.

How to invite your students

Getting students on to Connie is straightforward. Every school or university that is part of the Connie for Education programme has a unique signup link. When students sign up through that link, their account is automatically connected to your institution's Connie account.

Where to find the signup link

Option 1: Go to Student Accounts

Click on Student Accounts in the left-hand menu. This takes you straight to your Student Dashboard, where you will find the signup link at the top.

Option 2. Find the QR code

If you would also like to share a QR code, go to Settings from within Student Accounts. There you will find both the signup link and a QR code ready to use.

Simply send your students the link or let them scan the QR code and they are good to go.
