This option is only available for you if your school or university is an educational partner of Connie and has actively share templates with you.
Where Do I Find the Templates from My School?
If your school has shared document templates, you can find them under the "Templates" tab. Simply go to the "Shared by (your school/university)" category to see all the documents your school has shared. When creating a document, you can choose one of these shared templates. The next steps will show you exactly how to do that!
How Do I Issue a Document Using a School Template
Enter Your Project
Click on “Issue New Contract” in the upper-right corner of the dashboard, then choose the type of contract you need. Here’s a breakdown of your options:
Select Your Contract Type
Select “Issue New Contract” on the upper right corner. Now you can choose which type of contract you would like to create. Here is an explanation of the different types:
Need to create a contract for just one person to sign?
Choose "Issue Contract”. This type of contract requires both the signer’s signature and your own to be considered complete. Once the contract is ready, you can share a preview with the signer to confirm all details are accurate before sending out the signature request. After finalizing the contract, you’ll have the option to draft a personalized email that will be sent to the signer along with the document.
Got a document that needs to be signed by multiple people?
With the "Create a Sign Page" option, you can quickly collect signatures from many people at once. This feature generates a unique URL and QR code that you can share with everyone who needs to sign. It’s fast, efficient, and hassle-free.
You just want to upload an already signed document to Connie?
This third option is probably not of high relevance for you as a student. Here you can upload already signed PDFs, Word Docs, or images to integrate them into the platform.
Choose the Relevant Template
If you selected one of the first two options, it's time to choose a template as the foundation for your legal document. Simply pick the relevant template provided by your school or university to get started. These templates give you a solid base for your contract, but you can easily make adjustments using the toolbar on the right. Once you're happy with everything, click "Save" to finalize your draft. If you chose "Issue Contract", you’ll also have the option to customize the email sent to the signer, ensuring clear communication. Just review the details, send the email, and you're all set!
