Adding an additional company

Do you work across multiple legal entities? On the Professional plan, you can register more than one company in Connie.

If your account should cover more than one legal entity, you can register multiple companies in Connie. Each company has its own details, which are pulled into documents automatically when you issue them.

This feature is available on the Professional plan only.

Add an additional company

Step by step guide

1. Click Settings in the left-hand menu.

Here you find all your account settings.

2. Click the Company tab in the tab bar at the top.

Here you find an overview of all the companies you have registered in Connie. Most plans (Creator, Team, and Studio) include one registered company in Connie. Only the Professional plan includes several legal entities.

3. Click New Company.

You'll find this button either in the upper left corner or right next to your currently registered company badge in your company overview.

4. Fill in the company details in the sidebar that appears on the left.

The following fields are available:

  • Company Name (required)

  • Address

  • Zip Code

  • City

  • Country

  • General Company Email

  • General Company Phone

  • VAT Number

  • Logo – upload a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WEBP file

  • Website URL

  • Privacy Policy URL

  • Access Permissions – select the team members who are associated with this company

5. Click Save when you are done.

Plan requirements

This feature is available on the Professional plan. If you are on a different plan, you can purchase the Additional legal entity add-on. You can find the details under Settings – then Plan & Billing.
