The Payouts table can show up to 28 columns. Most are hidden by default; turn any of them on under Views & Columns > Edit columns, and save the combinations you use as views. Here is what each column shows, group by group.
Beneficiary
Selfie + Full Name. Who gets paid, with their photo so you recognize people across productions. Always a person, never a company placeholder.
Email and Phone. The beneficiary's contact details, straight from their profile. Turn these on when payday questions mean you need to reach people fast.
Address, Zip and City. The beneficiary's postal address, split into three columns so exports map cleanly to salary-system fields.
Country. The beneficiary's country, with a flag. Useful for spotting payouts that need international payment details.
Bank Account. The account the payout goes to. Masked by default; click the eye to reveal (every reveal is logged) or the copy icon to copy the value without showing it on screen.
Social Security Number. CPR or equivalent, masked and logged exactly like the bank account. A flag shows which country's format it is.
Document
Preview. A button that opens the signed document behind the payout, so you can check what was actually agreed without leaving the list.
Document. The signed document's title. The payout's origin, and the answer to "what is this payment for?"
Template. The template the document was issued from, with its version, or "No template used". Handy for spotting which agreement generation a payout follows.
Document ID. The document's unique ID. Two payouts sharing a Document ID come from the same contract, for example installments.
Project and Project Folder. Which production the payout belongs to, and the folder inside it (Cast, Crew, Extras). Project access is also what controls who can see the payout.
Date Issued and Date Signed. When the document was sent out and when it was signed. The signed date is when the payout obligation began.
Issuer. The legal entity that issued the document. Mostly useful when your account runs more than one company.
Signer(s). Everyone who signed the document, as avatars. Usually the beneficiary, sometimes more.
Accounting
Payment method. How this payout is paid: bank transfer, salary or any method your account has defined in Settings.
Amount. What to pay. Filled automatically from the signed contract when the template uses SmartTags (the lightning icon), entered by hand otherwise. "Enter amount" means it is still missing, and the pencil edits it.
Frequency (coming soon). One-time, weekly or monthly. Recurring payouts create a new instance each cycle.
Forwarded by. How the payout reached Accounting: a person who clicked Create Payout (their name and photo) or Auto-forwarded when the template creates payouts automatically on signing.
Approval. Every human approver on the payout, each with their own status ring: green approved, blue pending, red denied. The dashed plus requests approval from someone new. The sender of a payout appears here automatically, approved.
Approver comments. Notes approvers left along the way, for example why a payout was denied or what an installment covers.
Status. What is blocking the payout, if anything: Ready to pay, Details missing, Requested, Review bank details, Bank changed, Approval pending or denied, On hold, Payout incomplete, Paid, Archived. A payout can carry more than one badge; read warnings first. (Full glossary: "Statuses explained".)
Paid On. The date the payment was completed. Empty until the payout is marked paid.
Reference. The payment reference from your salary system or bank, set when the payout is marked paid. The same value appears as the Payslip ID on the production's Payouts tab, so production and accounting always talk about the same payment.
Actions
Mark as paid and Put on hold. Not data but buttons: complete a payout after your salary run, or park it with a note while something is sorted out. Hide them in views meant for reading rather than doing; the data view hides them automatically.
Tip: you rarely want all 28 at once. Start from the built-in views (Contact View for reaching people, Approval View for sign-off, Payout View for the salary run) and adjust from there.
Payouts is an add-on
Payouts is a paid add-on to Connie, available on the Team, Studio and Professional plans, and included in your 30-day free trial. Payments always run through your own salary system and bank. Connie prepares and tracks every payout, but never touches the money.
