What is Payouts and do I need it?

Payouts is Connie's add-on for everything that happens after a contract is signed and before someone gets paid. It turns your signed documents into payment tasks you can track, approve and hand to your salary system, in one worklist under Legal & Admin >

What Payout does

Creates a Payout from a signed contract, automatically via the template or with one click. Whoever sends it approves it, with their name on it.

Collects missing details safely. Payees add their own bank details and CPR through a secure personal link, checked as they type. No email, no retyping.

Tracks approvals and status for every payout: ready to pay, waiting for details, awaiting approval, on hold, paid.

Exports to your salary system in the columns it expects, and ties every payment back to its payslip reference.

Keeps production in the loop. Every production gets its own Payouts tab with status, payment references and a chat with accounting.

Do I need it?

You will get the most out of Payouts if you regularly pay cast, crew, extras or freelancers based on documents signed in Connie, and today that means spreadsheets, email threads and retyping. If several people are involved between signing and paying (a producer who approves, an accountant who pays), the shared worklist and approvals are built exactly for that.

You can probably skip it if you rarely pay individuals from your contracts, or if your payouts already flow into payroll without manual steps.

One thing Payouts is not: a payment system. Payments always run through your own salary system and bank. Connie prepares and tracks every payout, but never touches the money.

Availability

Payouts is a paid add-on, available on the Team, Studio and Professional plans, and included in your 30-day free trial. Turn it on, send one contract through, and see if Friday feels different.
