Who can manage student accounts?
To manage student accounts, you need admin access to your school or university's Connie account. Admin access is given by a teacher who already has access to the school account. They can invite colleagues directly from within the account.

What admins can do
We recommend giving admin access only to teachers, course leaders, or administrative staff who have a relevant reason to manage student accounts. Admins can:
View student accounts and their activity
Share templates with students
Disconnect or delete student accounts
Manage the general settings for the school account
What you will find in the "Student Accounts" section
Click on Student Accounts in the left-hand menu. You will land on the Student Dashboard. From there you can navigate between four tabs at the top of the screen.
Student Dashboard
This is your starting point. Here you can see at a glance:
How many active student accounts you have
How many student users there are in total
How many projects students have created
How many documents students have issued
You will also find the invite link to share with new students and a list of the most recently registered student accounts.
Students
This tab gives you a detailed overview of all your student accounts. You can search for a specific student and access their account directly by clicking the Go to account button on the right side.
Click the three dots next to a student account to:
View the account
Manage template access for that specific student
Disconnect the student account from your institution
Delete the student account
Template Sharing
Here you can see all the templates you have created and manage which ones are shared with your students. You can see at a glance which templates are currently shared and which ones have not been shared yet. For each template you can also decide whether students can only read it or whether they are allowed to edit it as well.
Settings
This is where you find your school's signup link and QR code to share with students. You can also manage the general settings for your institution's Connie account from here.
