When you’re out in the field capturing moments, getting proper consent is crucial — and Connie makes it simple and fast with SignPages and QR codes. Here’s how you, as a photographers can easily collect signed consents on the go.

💡 To collect signatures as a photographer / videographer, you either need to have your own Connie account, or get a "SignPage URL" or a physical "SignTag" from the person asking you to collect consents.

Step 1: Set Up Your Consent Template

First, make sure you have the right consent or model release template set up in Connie, and once ready publish it as a new SignPage. This will generate a unique QR and URL that you can use to collect signatures.

A published SignPage with it's unique URL and QR code for people to scan to see and sign on the SignPage

Step 2: Access Your QR Code

There are a few ways you can access the SignPage QR code linked to your public SignPage:

1. Pull it up via the Connie app

  • Open the project where your SignPage is published

  • Locate your SignPage

  • Open the SignPage to show the QR code.

  • Show the QR code to the person you’re photographing for them to scan and sign

👉 Note: You must have login access to the project or own the account to do this.

2. Use a physical SignTag

  • Print the QR code or order our pre-printed SignTags that you can connect to any SignPage, and re-use over and over again.

  • Wear it around your neck or attach it to your gear

  • Invite people to scan the QR code right off your SignTag

This is a hands-free, super professional way to manage consent in busy environments!

3. Get the SignPage URL and add /qr

  • Ask your project manager or coordinator for the SignPage URL

  • Simply add /qr to the end of the URL (example: your-signpage-url.com/qr)

  • Open the QR code directly without needing to log in!

Perfect if you're a freelance photographer working under someone else’s project.
