Collecting signatures with a SignPage

SignPages are an incredibly efficient and streamlined way to collect information and signatures from many at once.

Updated over a week ago

A SignPage is a public document (contract / consent / form) that you can use to collect mass-signatures, either at the same time, or over time as people visit the SignPage.

It’s especially useful when you need to collect consent forms from extras, crew members or cast, or when you have a standard document you want signed many times over time – like an NDA, a casting form or similar.

SignPages on Connie simplify the collection of many signatures

The big advantage of SignPages is speed and time savings: Instead of sending out contracts one by one, you can send the same form to many people in just a few clicks, and have them fill it in and sign it.

How to create a SignPage

1. Go to Projects

You’ll find Projects in the menu on the left-hand side.

2. Create or select a project

You can start a new project or choose an existing one.

3. Create a new SignPage

Click on the SignPage button in the top right corner.

4. Use a template or start from scratch

Select the option that works best for you: either use a premade template (ideal for standard or frequently used documents) or start from a fresh, empty page. If you start from scratch, remember to use our SmartTags and layout options.

5. Give your SignPage a title

Provide an internal and public title for easy reference.

6. Fill out the form fields required

Complete and fill in the active form fields in the document. All fields that need to be filled in by you are marked in green.

7. Choose the issuing company and issuer

If you manage several companies in Connie, select the right one. Then pick who should appear as the issuer.

8. Define the signer information

Decide what your signers need to provide. For example, should they upload a selfie or phone number when signing?

💡 Tip: A selfie can be very helpful if someone later withdraws their consent, so you know exactly what they look like, when you have to find them in your footage.

9. (Optional) Add custom questions

Create questions for the signer that appear during signing (separately from the contract).

  • Useful for collecting additional information that doesn't belong in the contract itself.

  • You can choose whether responses are automatically deleted when the associated project expires, keeping you GDPR-compliant.

10. Manage your notifications

Here you can choose whether you would like to be notified each time someone signs this SignPage. The notification will be sent to you by email.

11. Click Save

Your SignPage is now live and ready to use!

12. Share your SignPage

Now you can begin collecting signatures by sharing the SignPage. You can:

  • Send the Unique URL by email

  • Share the QR code directly from your phone

  • Connect a SignTag
