Add an additional recipient

Additional recipients receive a copy of a signed document automatically, without needing to sign it themselves.

If someone needs a copy of a signed agreement but is not part of the signing process, you can add them as an additional recipient. Once all parties have signed, Connie sends a copy to everyone you have added automatically.

This is useful for anyone who needs to stay in the loop – an actor's agent, a producer, someone in accounting, or anyone else who needs the final document without being a signer.

How to add an additional recipient

You can add an additional recipient when issuing an individual document or SignPage, or when setting up a template – in which case the recipient is added to all documents and SignPages created from that template.

  1. Open the document, SignPage, or template editor.

  2. Find the Additional recipients field on the right side.

  3. Enter the email address of the person who should receive a copy.

Once all parties have signed, Connie sends the completed document to all additional recipients automatically.

Good to know

Additional recipients receive a copy of the fully signed document. They will not receive sign requests or reminders, and they do not need a Connie account to receive the email.

Available on Studio and Professional plans. If you do not see this option, check your current plan in your account settings.
