Permissions explained: Manage templates

This article explains how template permissions work in Connie and what team members can do depending on their access level.

All team members can use templates, but creating, editing, and managing them requires the Manage templates permission. This is a user-level permission. This article explains what that means and how to manage it as an account owner or a team member with the Manage team permission.

What team members can do

Team members with the Manage templates permission can:

  • Create new templates

  • Edit existing templates

  • Unpublish templates

  • Delete templates

  • Use templates when issuing documents and SignPages

Team members without the Manage templates permission can:

  • Use templates when issuing documents and SignPages

In short, everyone on your team can use the templates that have been created and published. Only team members with the right permission can create and manage them.
