Connie gives you control over who in your team can manage your documents, templates, team, settings, projects, and companies. Each of these actions allows the team member to have the permission to do this. You as the team owner (or a team member that has the permission to manage the team) have to give each team member the permission to do these.
User level permissions control what individual team members can do across your account. When inviting someone or when afterwards editing their permissions, you can:
Grant or limit permissions for managing Projects, companies, team members, contracts, templates, and account settings
This ensures each team member only sees and can edit what's relevant to them.
Plan requirements
Managing user permissions is available on the Studio and Professional plans. On other plans, only the account owner can manage the team.
How to change permissions at user level
User level permissions are set when you first invite someone. To edit them afterwards:
1. Open the team settings
Click Settings in the left menu bar, then select Our Team from the tab bar at the top.
2. Select the person
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the person whose permissions you want to edit, then open their user settings.
3. Edit the permissions
Adjust which actions are available to this team member. You can select any of these:
Allow this person to create and edit projects they are a part of.
Allow this person to manage companies and associated signers.
Allow this person to manage team members on this Connie account, including their permissions.
Allow this person to issue, edit, download and export contracts on the projects they have access to.
Allow this person to create and edit contract templates.
Allow this person to manage account settings.
External collaborator permissions
External collaborators can only get the permission to issue documents from those projects they have access to.
