π‘ To delete or deactivate a Team Member you need to be either the Account Owner or have the "Manage Team" permission.
Deleting or Deactivating
On Connie you have either the option to delete or to deactivate a team member or collaborator. If someone no longer has a role in your work and won't need access again, deleting them permanently removes them from your account. If they're stepping away temporarily β for example, a freelancer between projects or a team member on leave β deactivating them is the better choice. Their profile and settings are kept intact, making it easy to restore their access when they're back.
In short this means:
Delete β they won't need access again
Deactivate β they might be back later, and you can restore their access when needed
Deleting a team member or collaborator
To delete a Team Member, simply go to Settings -> Our Team and click the three small dots in the upper right corner of the persons card. There you choose Delete.
When you delete a Team Member or Collaborator, their access is immediately and permanently removed. The ownership of Projects and SignPages they have created will be transferred to the Team Owner.
β οΈ Deleting a person from your team cannot be undone!
Deactivating a team member or collaborator
To deactivate a Team Member or Collaborator, simply go to Settings -> Our Team and click the three small dots in the upper right corner of the persons card. There you choose Deactivate.
When a person is deactivated they will no longer have access to your Connie Account. If they try to log in, they will be presented with a message that says their access is disabled.
Reactivate a team member or collaborator
You can re-activate their access at any time, by clicking on the three dots again and choose Reactivate.
