Ways of collecting signatures
There are three main ways to collect signatures on Connie.
Collecting many individual signatures for one document
Do you have one document that many people need to sign individually? For example a consent form, extras agreement, security checklist, or similar documents.
In this case, SignPages are the easiest and fastest way to collect signatures. You publish the document once and then collect many signatures by sharing a unique URL or QR code that links directly to the document.
Collecting one or several signatures on a specific document
This is the classic way of creating a contract or document for specific signers or one specific signer.
You create one document and define exactly who should sign it by entering the signer’s email address. If several people need to sign the document, you can decide in which order they should sign. Once the first signer has signed, the next signer will automatically receive a notification, and so on.
Storing a document that has been signed outside of Connie
You can also upload documents that were signed outside of Connie, for example documents with handwritten signatures. In this case, simply upload the signed document to Connie as a PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP to store it together with your other project documents.
Good to know
Documents can only be signed on Connie if they were created in Connie. This means you can collect signatures on SignPages and individual documents that were created and issued through Connie. Word or PDF files cannot be sent out for signature.
