Can I send an agreement for signature via text message?

Yes! The steps depend on what type of document you're sending. Find your situation below.

Sending a SignPage via text message

SignPages have a public URL you can share anywhere, including over text. Here's all you need to do:

1. Open your SignPage

Or create a new one and copy the SignPage URL.

2. Paste the link into your messaging app and send it.

Either to one person or as a bulk message to multiple signers.

Sending an individual document via text message

Individual documents are sent by email by default. To also send them via text, you'll need to copy the sign link after issuing the document. Here's how:

1. Go to Projects

Click Projects in the left-hand menu.

2. Find your pending document

The document needs to be issued but not yet signed. It'll show up with a pending status.

3. Open the document fully

Click the document title to open it. Clicking the preview button won't work here.

4. Copy the sign link and send it

Click Copy Sign Link on the right side of the document. Paste the link into your messaging app and send it to your signer.

Good to know

The sign link is already in the automatic email Connie sent, this is just an extra way to share it.

Heads up: Anyone with this link can sign the document. Only share it with the intended signer, and avoid forwarding it in group chats or public channels.
